StreamUK lend technical support for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 launch

Call of Duty: Black Ops was the biggest game release of 2010, so it was little surprise to learn that the live webcast went down in history as one of the biggest ever. 

Gamers and critics all over the globe have been eagerly awaiting the release of the second game from the ‘Black Ops’ franchise, with the launch expecting over 180,000 online viewers.

StreamUK will be providing full encoding services for the live launch stream which will be broadcast on YouTube on Sunday between 7pm and Midnight. The launch is rumoured to include a live tournament with celebrity team leaders.

The 2010 launch party was held at Battersea Power Station,  attended by over 500 guests and VIPs each eager to get their hands on the game. The online broadcast itself became one of the most watched live launches of all time, attracting gaming enthusiasts all over the globe to check out the game’s features for the first time.
