StreamAMG empowers PMA’s press junkets for Assassin’s Creed

With the exciting release of Facebook Live in early August, the potential for digital agencies to explore new ways of connecting their clients to vast audiences has skyrocketed. Studies have shown that audiences spend three times longer watching videos which are live, rather than on-demand.

Facebook Product Manager Vibhi Kant later quoted in a blog post: “We’re making a small update to News Feed so that Facebook Live videos are more likely to appear higher in News Feed when those videos are actually live, compared to after they are no longer live.”

Like with every new development in technology, there are however risks involved and as Murphy’s Law states: “Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong”. A stream going down mid-campaign, or audio and video desynchronising, could potentially harm a brands reputation. StreamAMG offers a solution through our dedicated expert production team that ensures your live streams are of the utmost quality and performance and are managed by experienced professionals who understand how to help businesses get the most out of what Facebook Live can offer.

Our experts have worked closely with PMA film and television to provide broadcast quality live streams to Facebook. Using our vision mixing and encoding expertise, film junkets are mixed live ranging from 1 – 3 cameras and published directly on to the end client’s desired Facebook page by our professionals.

Some of the events our production team have worked on with PMA are:

– The Beatles
– Bridget Jones Baby
– Queen of Katwe
– Jack Reacher

Recently StreamAMG provided a solution to stream to 8 Facebook pages simultaneously for the upcoming Assassins Creed movie. Using our Cloud Matrix solution, our production team were able to manage several Facebook pages and distribute the live stream across these seamlessly. This provided a way for the video to be live streamed in multiple different languages and reach a far wider audience whilst minimising costs. The results were staggering, with 500,000 views on the UK stream alone.

“To all of you, what a find you’ve been! We love working with you- here’s to more in 2017!”
